Terms of Service

Effective: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PacketCrew, an AI agent platform for network engineers operated by Von Taylor LLC, trading as Von Taylor Networks ("we", "us"), located at 4717 Deer Park Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117. Contact: Vontaylorllc@outlook.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

PacketCrew provides AI-assisted workflows for network engineering work: configuration auditing, log troubleshooting, documentation writing, and technical tutoring. Outputs are generated by third-party AI models and are advisory only. You are responsible for reviewing every output before acting on it. Never apply a suggested configuration change to production infrastructure without independent verification.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription and billing

PacketCrew is sold as a recurring subscription, currently $19.00 USD per month. Billing is handled by our merchant of record, Paddle, which processes your payment and handles taxes, invoices, and receipts. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle's checkout terms presented at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Your model key (bring your own key)

PacketCrew works with AI models through an API key you provide (for example, an OpenRouter key). Model usage is billed separately by your model provider — it is not included in the $19 subscription. Your key is encrypted at rest and never displayed back to you in full. You are responsible for all usage charges incurred on your key, including usage triggered through PacketCrew.

5. Acceptable use

6. Intellectual property

The PacketCrew platform, branding, and site content are owned by Von Taylor LLC. Outputs generated for you through the service are yours to use. You retain ownership of configurations, logs, and notes you provide.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your environment. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for network outages, misconfigurations, or downtime resulting from actions you take based on service outputs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Von Taylor LLC's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or network downtime.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time (see section 3). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for extended non-payment, with notice where reasonable.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
